Treatment

A reflexology session normally lasts approximately one hour.

Most people find the whole experience extremely relaxing and enjoyable.

After answering a few medical questions the patient removes shoes and socks, then sits or lies back in a comfortable chair and the therapist applies gentle pressure and massage to specific reflex areas on the soles, sides and tops of the feet. These reflex points relate to areas and organs in the body. A full treatment session incorporates the whole of the feet which relates to the whole of the body being treated.

If for any reason it is not practical to apply reflexology to the feet then the hands can be treated as an alternative.
